Terms of Use
These terms are in English. The English version is the one that applies.

Welcome to Soulthentic. By downloading, accessing, or using the Soulthentic app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. About Soulthentic
Soulthentic is a social discovery and community platform that allows users to connect through shared interests, stories, conversations, and real-world experiences such as events and group activities.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Soulthentic. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the platform. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 may be suspended or removed.
3. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login details secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
You agree not to share your account or impersonate another person.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features of Soulthentic are available through paid subscriptions.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is processed through your device's app store account.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your account settings after purchase.
- Prices and plans may change, but you will always be notified before any changes take effect.
5. Event Tickets Paid by Card
Some events let you buy tickets by card in the app. Card payments are processed by Paystack and charged in South African rand (ZAR). Your card details go straight to Paystack; Soulthentic never sees or stores your card number.
- Each event shows its refund terms before you pay, and you accept them at checkout.
- If the organiser cancels the event, you get a full refund.
- If the event is postponed or materially changed, you can ask for a full refund.
- Otherwise, refunds follow the organiser’s refund terms for that event. Duplicate or incorrect charges are always corrected.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 3 to 10 working days. A fully refunded ticket stops working.
- To ask for a refund, use Request a refund on your ticket, or email support@soulprintink.com with your payment reference.
The organiser, not Soulthentic, runs the event and is responsible for it.
Organisers who sell tickets by card
Before selling tickets by card, an organiser must accept the organiser agreement in the app, pass an identity check with Veriff, add a South African bank account in their own name (or their business’s) that Paystack checks, and be approved by Soulthentic. Under that agreement:
- Soulthentic charges a commission of 5% of the ticket price on every card ticket. Paystack splits each sale, so the commission goes to Soulthentic and the rest goes to the organiser’s payout account.
- The organiser pays Paystack’s processing fees out of their share. Attendees pay the ticket price only. Card tickets cost at least R20.
- If an organiser cancels an event, every attendee who paid by card gets the full ticket price back. Soulthentic returns its commission on those tickets, and the organiser repays the rest, including the processing fees that Paystack does not give back.
- Organisers honour the refund terms they set, and repay chargebacks and disputes on their tickets in the same way.
- Organisers are responsible for their own tax, including VAT on their ticket sales where it applies.
- Soulthentic can pause card sales on an organiser’s account if these terms are not kept, or to protect attendees. Tickets already sold keep working.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Soulthentic respectfully and lawfully. You may not:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Post hateful, harmful, or illegal content
- Spam or solicit users
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Fake your location: the place shown on your Home card must be where you actually are, so don’t use apps or tools that change your phone’s location
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post.
By posting content on Soulthentic, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the app for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.
8. Events & Third-Party Services
Soulthentic may feature events, venues, or services provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the actions, safety, or quality of any third-party services. Participation is at your own discretion.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the platform
- Required by law or safety concerns
You may stop using the app at any time.
10. Disclaimers
Soulthentic is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and are not responsible for any loss resulting from your use of the app.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soulthentic and its owners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are made, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, unless otherwise required by law.
